People should perhaps stop asking this same passive-aggressive question every time we announce that Greg is drawing something. It accomplishes nothing.

In every case, the situation is exactly the same: the choice is yours. You can choose to read the series, or you can choose not to read the series. Your choice.

I didn’t send this ask but, while it might be passive-aggressively framed, I don’t think people should just shut up and decide. Every female comic reader I know (and many male ones as well) loves and wants to support Jessica Drew. Every female comic reader I know (and many male ones as well) feels demeaned and uncomfortable looking at the art of Greg Land. This ask may not be well-phrased and the question may be blatantly passive-aggressively rhetorical, and I do like many of your answers to questions on here. But the reason you keep getting this question is that despite Marvel’s clear efforts to be more inclusive lately it still gives lots of work to a person whose art goes against that. Saying “it accomplishes nothing” to every girl who loves superheroes but squirms every time she sees the way Land draws women is both demeaning and incorrect.

I am asking myself the same question as that anon, frankly. And while I wouldn’t ask your opinion on it because yes, it is my choice - if you had almost any other artist on the book, I’d be first in line to buy it. It wouldn’t be a question at all.
